Belter is a smart, adaptable, parcel locker solutions company that develops intelligent products to deliver, receive and send parcels, so carriers and consumers can rely on a frictionless delivery every time.
OUR JOURNEY
While most of us were experiencing last-mile delivery challenges during Covid lockdowns in 2021, our founder Rick was curious and inspired.
As previous founder of Clay Solutions, a smart lock company sold to Salto Systems in 2019, Rick has been driven to explore industries with legacy technologies and ready for innovation.
Once overhearing a conversation between parcel carrier executives who said:
“This is not sustainable, and the whole world knows it”
… combined with daily reminder of quantities of parcels being delivered by numerous trucks on his street each day - Rick was convinced there had to be a better way.
He first began with exploring individual residential parcel delivery boxes. But after months of studying this, he learned that the problem actually needed a completely different approach and everything had to be challenged.

Belter is a technology and products company.
We believe that so called Out of Home (OOH) delivery of parcels to consumers is the only long-term and sustainable way to go.
Belter innovates in the OOH space.
Individual door to door delivery of parcels is expensive, inconvenient, polluting and does not scale. This motivates us to work on smarter, easy to use, convenient solutions for parcel delivery in the least harmful way for our planet.
Belter develops technology products to make parcel delivery more enjoyable and better for the environment. We are technology lovers and we connect in the believe that things can be done, even if they are hard.
The name Belter comes from the noun “Belter” which means something unusually good or unusually powerful; an exceptional or outstanding example of something. Although being very outspoken this is the bar we want to set for ourselves!
